Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead all procurement activities for a defined product category, developing and executing category strategies that deliver cost savings and value for Agroshipping LLC. The role works closely with senior management and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic, financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement supply strategies for assigned product categories.
• Conduct strategic analysis and comprehensive category planning.
• Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring delivery stays on track.
• Negotiate high‑value contracts and commercial terms with key suppliers.
• Assist in developing the departmental budget and financial forecasts.
• Oversee quality control throughout project lifecycles, managing risks and change.
• Prepare and present spend, timeline and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Prioritise and assign tender work across the category team.
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
• Ensure team compliance with procurement processes, delegation of authority and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement or category teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and enforce compliance standards.
• Effective communication with senior management and cross‑functional partners.
