About the role
To conduct teaching, research and service to contribute to HBKU becoming a world‑class research university and collaborate with faculty members and students to create a vibrant university community that will positively impact Qatar and the region.
Required profile
- Ph.D. or terminal degree from an accredited university.
- 10–12+ years of full‑time university teaching experience with evidence of increasing professional maturity and productivity.
- Strong evidence of proficiency in teaching, student supervision, and curriculum and program development.
- Research and scholarly achievements judged competent for the rank of Professor, with a growing portfolio of funded grants, publications, IP/patents.
- Increasing regional and international reputation in the scholarly discipline.
- Ability to lead diverse groups and develop networks within HBKU and partner institutions.
- Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
