Quality Specialist (Assurance) – Offshore Project

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Specialist (Assurance) to support a major oil & gas operator on an offshore compression project in Qatar. The role is on‑site, full‑time (6 days/week, 10 hours/day) for a 36‑month fixed‑term contract, reporting to the Head of Quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and oversee the Contractor’s Project Quality Management System.
• Verify that engineering, procurement and construction quality systems comply with project specifications and corporate QMS requirements.
• Support and monitor Procurement and Construction Quality Surveillance Programs.
• Drive Deficiency and Non‑Conformance (NCR) management, ensuring issues are identified, recorded, investigated and resolved.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and structured problem‑solving using appropriate quality tools.
• Implement quality performance reporting and communicate risks and emerging trends to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within offshore oil & gas projects, preferably compression.
• Strong self‑organisation, proactive coordination and ability to engage with diverse global stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and maintain focus on quality and integrity.
