Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician will perform quality inspections and testing of components and finished products in a medical device manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑process and final labeling and packaging inspections according to test methods and quality specifications.
• Perform incoming inspections of purchased components and sub‑assemblies, including First Article Inspections.
• Generate detailed inspection and testing records following Good Documentation Practices and the company’s Quality Management System.
• Maintain and operate inspection and test equipment, and support engineering projects such as design verification and process validation testing.
• Ensure traceability of components and products at all inspection points.
• Maintain inspection records within the eQMS system and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing quality inspections or testing in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, and vision corrected to 20/20.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document inspection results clearly.
• Ability to read English instructions and, preferably, interpret engineering drawings.

Required skills

• Use of vision measurement systems (MicroVu preferred).
• Operation of microscopes, calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, pin gauges, rulers, and tensile testers.
• Proficiency with eQMS software for record keeping.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word.
