Receptionist – Front Desk at Luxury Hotel in Doha

About the role

We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact at Mövenpick Hotel Doha. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, clients and staff while handling a variety of front‑desk duties in a fast‑paced, 4‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors, providing a professional first impression.
• Manage incoming calls, emails and correspondence, routing them to the appropriate departments.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for executives and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and document preparation.
• Handle office supply inventory and ordering.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Provide general information and answer inquiries from clients, visitors and employees.
• Support other departments with clerical tasks as needed.
• Ensure security protocols by managing visitor logs and issuing badges.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer‑service role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business administration preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to operate multi‑line phone systems and basic office equipment.
