Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle all guest reservation requests for our Doha property, ensuring a smooth booking experience from inquiry to confirmation. You will work closely with the front‑desk team to maximize occupancy and revenue while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests and accommodate them in the system.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input correct codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, etc.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect guest privacy, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Provide clear, courteous telephone etiquette and support colleagues to achieve team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a reservation system.
