Reservations Agent – Revenue Department

About the role

Beach Rotana is seeking a dynamic Reservations Agent to join its Revenue team in Doha. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests making room reservations, ensuring a smooth and memorable booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter, or fax.
• Enter all reservation details into the system, handling inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
• Stay updated on hotel promotions and apply rate structures accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and manage rate applications.
• Organise and file all correspondence, preparing reports for the Reservations Manager.
• Promote the hotel, maintain public relations, and seek opportunities to maximise business.
• Keep the room status accurate at all times.
• Answer incoming calls according to Rotana standards and monitor fax and email reservations.
• Arrange visa requests for guests and upsell services when appropriate.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel reservations.
• Computer literate with strong written and oral English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑focused, proactive, courteous, and dynamic personality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a structured environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, adaptability, and respect for diversity.
