Restaurant Supervisor – Front of House

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Supervisor to support the Assistant Restaurant Manager in leading our front‑of‑house team. You will ensure daily floor operations run smoothly, uphold company standards, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager in training, supervising, and scheduling front‑of‑house staff.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, checklists, and shift requisitions.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings and ensure staff attendance at departmental meetings.
• Communicate menu updates, reservations, special guest requirements, and operational issues to the team.
• Monitor restaurant and kitchen operations to maintain food quality and service standards.
• Utilize the POS system efficiently and enforce proper cash‑handling procedures.
• Interact with guests professionally, address concerns promptly, and maintain a visible floor presence.
• Provide constructive feedback, encourage teamwork, and act as a role model for service excellence.
• Support training initiatives, assist in recruitment, and ensure timely completion of probation reviews and appraisals.
• Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse front‑of‑house team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point of Sale (POS) system.
