Risk Consulting Manager – FSRM (Doha)

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice is seeking a seasoned manager to lead risk consulting engagements for capital‑market clients such as banks, pension funds, investment firms and insurers. Based in Doha, you will drive the delivery of Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 risk solutions, risk analytics, credit and investment analysis, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end risk management projects, ensuring quality, timelines and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary liaison between engagement teams, senior directors and partners, providing regular progress updates.
• Develop and present high‑impact proposals, presentations and final deliverables to external clients.
• Mentor junior staff, champion EY’s Quality & Risk Management standards, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of EY’s risk solutions portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in quantitative finance, economics, actuarial science or a related field from a top institution.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in consulting or banking, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced, project‑based environments.
• Professional certifications such as FRM and/or CFA are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages: R, Python, SQL.
• Advanced analytical, report‑writing and presentation capabilities.
• Strong people‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
