Room Attendant - Luxury Hotel

About the role

Raffles & Fairmont Doha, two luxury brands under Accor, is looking for a Room Attendant. The role keeps guest rooms, suites and assigned areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation so that every guest enjoys a comfortable, luxurious stay. Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms and assigned areas to luxury hotel standards
• Change bed linens, replace towels and replenish guest amenities and room supplies
• Make sure rooms are clean, organised and ready for guests
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items and lost-and-found property to the right department
• Answer guest requests promptly, courteously and professionally
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, safety and security procedures and respect guest privacy
• Work with the housekeeping team and other departments to run rooms efficiently
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, trolleys and cleaning supplies, and use chemicals safely
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and presentation

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Physically fit, able to stand, bend, lift and push a housekeeping trolley
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Basic English; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Knowledge of room cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and housekeeping practices
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe handling
• Attention to detail, good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to follow hotel policies
