Sales Executive – Catering

About the role

The Sales Executive – Catering will drive revenue for Marriott’s catering services in Doha by building strong guest relationships and delivering tailored sales solutions. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on up‑selling, loyalty management, and seamless reservation handling.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate departments (Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest inquiries and issues.
• Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts.
• Promote Marriott’s brand image both internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards points redemption and manage reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter guest and rewards information into the reservation system accurately.
• Handle all guest calls, requests and concerns with professional etiquette.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support the Sales & Marketing team.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and ensure a professional appearance.
• Support guests throughout their experience, anticipate needs, and thank them sincerely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related sales or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
