Security Manager - Real Estate & Asset Management

About the role

The Security Manager oversees all security operations at the Doha Festival City Mall, protecting people, materials and information from threats such as physical assault, fraud and espionage. The role coordinates with city management and local authorities on event management, traffic flow and preventive measures, and acts as a key liaison between mall management and police, civil defense and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee security systems, including electronic security, CCTV and entry controls, and the personal safety of visitors
• Direct surveillance of suspects and premises, notify service providers of security weaknesses and handle classified materials securely
• Report criminal information to authorities and testify in court when needed
• Plan and manage traffic, security and parking during events with city management, police and civil defense, and inspect sites before and after events
• Confirm monthly security attendance, monitor vandalism, theft, fire and major leaks, and prepare incident analysis reports
• Manage the crisis management matrix and coordinate incident management with civil defense and police
• Review traffic signage, conduct safety surveys of roads and parking areas, manage contractor heavy vehicle and staff entry points, and handle traffic accidents with Doha Police
• Hold regular meetings with anchor tenants, capture contractor attendance for monthly billing and conduct monthly HSE analysis
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, including weekly updates to the AGM summarised in a monthly report

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in security management
• Formal training in Senior Security Management
• Previous experience as a member of the National Security, Police Force or a similar agency
• Ability to work independently and make urgent decisions, and flexibility to work long hours when necessary
