Security Training & Risk/Threat Analyst

About the role

The Security Training and Risk/Threat Analyst continuously monitors global events and evaluates their impact on the security risk to our flight operations. This role combines intelligence analysis, training design, and on‑site security assessments to protect crew, passengers, and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor worldwide security and political developments and assess their effect on operational risk.
• Identify locations requiring enhanced security measures and provide location‑specific recommendations.
• Prepare briefings and detailed reports on security, political, and terrorism threats.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures and propose improvements.
• Conduct audits and security surveys of engineering facilities, airports, crew quarters, and hotel accommodations.
• Identify training and development needs within the Security Department and flying crew.
• Design, develop, and maintain training programmes and the training database.
• Deliver general security induction briefings and specialised training sessions.
• Review and update security policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Collaborate with Security Management to produce and deliver task‑specific training.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education.
• Military or police background.
• Flight planning experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar security role.
• General security training and relevant qualifications.
• AVSEC trainer certification.
