Senior Associate MIS Business Analysis (Qatarization)

About the role

QNB, Qatar's first Qatari-owned commercial bank, is hiring a Senior Associate MIS Business Analyst in its Information Technology division in Doha. The role covers current process inputs and outputs, data requirements and business needs, and supports the enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence environment. It also maintains enterprise information strategies, data models and databases used by business applications and reporting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Shareholder and financial: provide cost-effective solutions to user requirements, monitor unit performance quality, implement KPIs and best practices, promote efficiency and act within delegated authorities.
• Customer (internal and external): gather, analyse and document business requirements, support customers on banking products and services, maintain SLAs and improve turnaround times, build stakeholder relationships and supply accurate data to auditors, compliance, finance and risk teams.
• Internal processes: support development lifecycle strategies, standards and guidelines; recommend solutions; support decisions on system implementation or retirement; prepare system documentation and user guides; ensure compliance with development standards.
• Learning and knowledge: understand requirements and identify suitable technology solutions, apply knowledge of system architecture and technical limits, share knowledge in departmental meetings, pursue continuous professional development and stay current with industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial services, with specialization in web or mobile application development.
