Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Qatar

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional in Audit & Assurance to join its Qatar team. You will work on complex audit engagements, building trust with clients and ensuring high‑quality delivery across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit scope and procedures, aligning with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, coordinating tasks and ensuring accurate information flow.
• Track deliverables from component auditors, linking risks, controls, and findings within the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality assurance.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and clearly separates accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit and assurance, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory impact, and business processes.
• Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Experience coordinating with global teams and managing audit timelines.
