Senior Cargo Data Analyst

About the role

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a Senior Cargo Data Analyst to join its Operations Team in Doha. The role will create and maintain data products and dashboards that support commercial stakeholders and senior management, driving data‑driven decisions across the air freight business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data mining, statistical analysis and predictive modelling to uncover trends in large cargo datasets.
• Design and implement interactive visualisations, dashboards and reports that clearly communicate key metrics.
• Support the implementation of ETL processes, data models and pipelines to ensure clean, accurate, and readily available data.
• Translate user stories into new or enhanced dashboards, addressing stakeholder requests promptly.
• Document findings, prepare executive summaries and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including data engineering, quality assurance and performance analysis—to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Communicate major updates, new datasets, analytical enhancements and system issues to all relevant parties.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the analytics function current.
• Support the rollout of training programmes that raise analytical and technical capabilities across commercial departments.
• Work closely with the Technical Team to optimise the performance of analytical tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data mining, statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
• Ability to design and deliver clear data visualisations and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to senior management and cross‑functional teams.
