Technical Stores Supervisor – Supply Chain (MRO)

About the role

Operating in a 24x7 environment, the Technical Stores Supervisor leads a shift team of Store Keepers, ensuring that all aircraft spares, tools, equipment and technical materials are stored and handled in strict compliance with Qatar Airways, QCAA, FAA, EASA, IATA and OEM regulations. The role maintains inventory data integrity, supports maintenance activities and upholds Quality, Finance and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pre‑loading, receiving, dispatch, binning, picking, delivery and collection of aircraft spares and tools during the assigned shift.
• Maintain accurate real‑time system transactions and daily activity records.
• Ensure proper segregation, documentation and traceability of items in bounded and quarantine stores.
• Apply FIFO, life‑batch control and safe storage of ESDS, cylinders, wheels and other dangerous goods.
• Communicate with end‑users to prioritize activities and avoid maintenance delays.
• Coordinate with Spares Movement, MSMC and other departments to resolve holds, returns, scrap and tool relocations.
• Optimize task distribution, storage space utilization and recommend procedural improvements.
• Participate in Finance, Quality and HSE audits and address observations promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising store‑keeping teams in an aviation or MRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA, QCAA, FAA, IATA, OEM).
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 operational setting.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with maintenance and support departments.
