Senior Cost Controller

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Cost Controller to support the growth of its expanding oil and gas business in Qatar. The role will work on projects covering FEED, Pre‑FEED, brownfield and greenfield scopes, ensuring execution aligns with the project execution plan, safety and quality standards, and cost and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute project work in accordance with Wood and project procedures, monitoring man‑hours, costs and schedule.
• Support both brownfield and greenfield opportunities across onshore and offshore oil and gas assets.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality control requirements.
• Provide cost reporting and analysis to project teams and senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of cost control experience in onshore/offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proven experience with FEED, Pre‑FEED, brownfield and greenfield project phases.
• Ability to work on‑site in Qatar and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
