Senior Design and Verification Engineer

About the role

The Senior Design and Verification Engineer will create, verify and certify structural changes and repairs for aerospace products, ensuring full compliance with aviation safety and airworthiness regulations. The role involves preparing comprehensive compliance documentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create designs for minor and major structural changes and repairs.
• Verify and certify designs within authorized scope.
• Prepare compliance reports, test plans and analysis documentation.
• Report major structural damage to OEMs outside QMRO scope.
• Classify change requests against internal procedures and EASA Part 21 regulations.
• Assess impact on structural integrity, fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Review engineering data and drawings for accuracy.
• Ensure Means of Compliance meet applicable airworthiness standards such as JAR/CS 25.
• Coordinate with the Head of Office of Airworthiness on regulatory updates and training.
• Guide new employees and collaborate on multi‑section projects.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in aerospace structural design and verification.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part 21 regulations.
• Familiarity with JAR/CS 25 airworthiness standards.
• Ability to assess structural integrity, fatigue and damage tolerance.
