Senior Financial Investment Director

About the role

The Senior Financial Investment Director will shape and execute the company’s investment strategy, overseeing portfolio allocation, capital deployment and growth initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures optimal risk‑adjusted returns while aligning investments with long‑term corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategies aligned with corporate financial goals.
• Lead portfolio allocation across equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate and alternative assets.
• Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance holdings and identify new investment opportunities such as M&A, joint ventures and structured products.
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis and lead due‑diligence for acquisitions and strategic investments.
• Present investment recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
• Design risk‑management frameworks, conduct stress‑testing and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance policies.
• Optimize capital structure, evaluate financing options and manage relationships with banks, institutional investors and fund managers.
• Lead and mentor investment analysts and portfolio managers, providing strategic financial insights to the CEO, CFO and Board.
• Represent the organization in investor meetings, industry forums and strategic partnership discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience, with at least 15 years in a senior leadership position.
• Deep expertise in financial markets, investment vehicles, asset management and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in portfolio management, capital allocation and delivering risk‑adjusted returns.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior executives and boards.
• Experience in the GCC region is a plus.
