Senior Insurance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Specialist to support and manage corporate and project‑related insurance activities across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a key role in insurance procurement, claims management, policy administration, risk assessment, and project insurance requirements while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily insurance operations across all business units in line with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for assets, projects, and operational activities.
• Manage annual insurance renewals, policy amendments, additions, deletions, and overall policy administration.
• Coordinate insurance claims reporting and facilitate settlements with insurers, brokers, and loss adjusters.
• Prepare and maintain loss‑ratio reports, insurance performance analysis, and loss records.
• Monitor underwriting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Review contracts, tender documents, and project agreements to assess insurance obligations and compliance.
• Manage project insurance requirements including CAR/DSU, Marine DSU, SPPI, CPM, and other specialized policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of insurance experience in a specialized or technical insurance function.
• Professional insurance certifications such as CII, CILA, III, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of insurance procurement, claims management, underwriting processes, and local insurance markets.
• Experience supporting lender‑driven projects and complex commercial risks.
• Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, energy, or large‑scale project insurance environments.
