Senior Integration Engineer – IBM ACE & MQ

About the role

Vistas Global is seeking a senior‑level Integration Engineer with deep expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and support robust integration solutions that connect applications, databases, and services across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise integration flows using IBM ACE/IIB, ensuring reusability and scalability.
• Integrate systems via REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and IBM MQ, handling message transformation and routing.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Perform unit, integration and performance testing, resolve defects and collaborate with QA teams.
• Manage deployments across development, QA and production environments, monitor runtime performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Document solutions, maintain coding standards and provide technical guidance to peers and vendors.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise integration and middleware.
• Proven experience delivering integration projects in banking, insurance, reinsurance or logistics.
• International project or client‑site exposure is a plus.

Required skills

• IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• IBM MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, ESQL.
• REST APIs, SOAP services, Microservices architecture.
• Data formats: XML, JSON, DFDL, CSV, ISO8583, MRM.
• Scripting: Shell, basic Linux administration.
• Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, DevOps practices.
• Database knowledge: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Testing tools: SoapUI, Postman.
