Senior Sales Operations Officer (LNG)

About the role

The Senior Sales Operations Officer will provide commercial, logistical and administrative support to our LNG trading activities. You will ensure that all contractual and charter party obligations are fulfilled while working closely with traders to optimise profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial, logistical and administrative aspects of LNG contracts and charter parties.
• Collaborate with traders to apply economics and optimisation techniques that maximise value‑add.
• Identify and minimise profit leakage arising from contract flexibility and optionality.
• Maintain accurate records in CTRM systems and ensure compliance with anti‑trust and freight regulations.
• Support client relationship management and internal stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial operations experience, including at least 2 years in LNG with leading IOCs, NOCs or trading firms.
• Proven ability to work in non‑standard environments while introducing standardisation.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean) are a plus.
• Broad knowledge of trading, risk control, sales operations, finance, contract administration, legal and economic analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to make fast, risk‑based decisions with limited information.
