Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant – Onsite in Qatar

About the role

Arab Solutions is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join its finance transformation team in Doha. The consultant will design, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions with a strong focus on lease accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, tax, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Finance, RE‑FX lease accounting, cost allocation, and SAP DRC e‑invoicing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 16, ASC 842, Qatar corporate tax and emerging e‑invoicing regulations.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, reconciliations and financial disclosures.
• Provide functional leadership, best‑practice recommendations and end‑to‑end integration across FI, CO, AA, SD, MM and VIM.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in SAP Finance functional consulting.
• Proven expertise in lease accounting (RE‑FX) and tax compliance projects.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar regulatory environment and IFRS/ASC standards.
• Excellent communication skills to advise senior finance and tax stakeholders.
