Senior System Engineer – Linux & Windows Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer with extensive experience in Linux and Windows administration to join our 24x7 SOC Fusion Center. You will be responsible for designing, operating, and securing a complex enterprise infrastructure that includes virtualization, monitoring, and backup solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Nutanix, and VxRail.
• Monitor infrastructure with Zabbix and handle backups using Veeam.
• Implement security policies, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and conduct regular security audits.
• Perform patch management, system updates, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN services.
• Administer user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
• Optimize performance and resource utilization across the environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Strong background in virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, VxRail).
• Experience with monitoring (Zabbix) and backup (Veeam) solutions.
• Proven ability to work in a 24x7 SOC or similar high‑availability environment.
• RHCE certification is mandatory; DevOps experience is a plus.
