Senior VAS Specialist

About the role

The Senior VAS Specialist will lead the execution of the company’s Value‑Added Services (VAS) strategy, aligning product road‑maps with business objectives, customer needs and market opportunities. You will be responsible for driving revenue performance, cost efficiency and commercial optimisation across the VAS portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations and lifecycle of VAS products, including enhancements, renewals and service retirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance – revenue trends, adoption, usage, profitability and KPIs – to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify growth opportunities and propose new services, campaigns, bundles and monetisation initiatives.
• Coordinate go‑to‑market activities with marketing and commercial teams, and oversee promotional campaigns and customer communications.
• Maintain relationships with VAS aggregators, content providers and service partners, supporting commercial negotiations, SLA reviews and operational discussions.
• Lead onboarding of new VAS partners, handling documentation, approvals, contracts, compliance and system readiness.
• Work closely with technology teams to ensure successful service integration, testing, deployment and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with legal and finance on contract renewals, vendor governance, payment validation and commercial compliance.
• Monitor customer feedback and service quality issues, driving timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Manage purchase orders, invoice validation and payment tracking while maintaining audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in managing VAS or similar product portfolios in the telecom sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on revenue and cost optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, technology, legal and finance teams.
