Site Supervisor – Dredging & Marine Construction

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead dredging, reclamation, marine and port construction activities on a major EPC project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. You will be responsible for ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with quality, environmental and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dredging, reclamation, breakwater, jetty, quay wall and other marine construction works.
• Monitor performance of contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate dredgers, barges, tugs, survey vessels and other marine equipment.
• Verify dredging quantities, excavation volumes and reclamation progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate hydrographic and topographic surveys.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Marine or Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in dredging, marine construction, land reclamation or port construction.
• Previous experience with EPC or marine contractors, preferably on Middle‑East projects.
• Strong understanding of hydrographic surveys and dredging quantity calculations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
