Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and acquisition activities for large-scale capital projects valued at QR 100 million or more. The role demands a strong engineering background, extensive procurement expertise, and the ability to coordinate safety and quality on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Direct procurement strategy and execution for major capital projects exceeding QR 100 M.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with on-site safety and quality teams to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead a procurement team, providing mentorship and ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Oversee overall project coordination to maintain high-quality standards and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of distinguished post-qualification experience.
• At least 15 years as a Procurement Manager on major capital projects of similar scale and diversity.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• High proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of on-site safety management, quality management and overall coordination.
