Spa Attendant

About the role

The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort is looking for a Spa Attendant to keep its Spa and Fitness facilities clean, comfortable and well presented, while offering attentive, personalized service to guests. The role supports the Spa team in delivering a relaxing wellness experience in line with the resort's luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, guide them through the spa facilities and help with lockers, towels, robes and slippers, anticipating their needs and keeping their privacy and comfort in mind
• Keep all spa areas, changing rooms, lockers, showers, lounges and treatment rooms clean, sanitized and well stocked, and report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
• Collect, sort and coordinate the delivery of used linens with the Laundry Department, and keep fresh towels, robes and linens properly folded and stored
• Monitor and replenish spa amenities, toiletries and cleaning supplies, and support inventory checks
• Follow hygiene, safety and grooming standards, manage wet areas safely and stay alert to emergency procedures
• Work with Spa Receptionists, therapists, fitness colleagues, Housekeeping, Laundry and Engineering, and attend department briefings and training
• Complete opening and closing procedures, follow daily checklists and report operational concerns to the Spa Supervisor

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness center or hospitality setting is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in English
• Strong customer service skills, excellent grooming and personal hygiene, good organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to stay calm and professional during busy periods
• Physically able to stand, walk and lift supplies, and flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
