Strategy Specialist - IT and Digital Strategy

About the role

An experienced Strategy Specialist is sought to shape and drive the organization's IT and digital strategy, develop strategic roadmaps and monitor the implementation of key initiatives so they align with business objectives and long-term priorities. The role covers IT strategy, digital transformation and enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and continuously improve the IT and digital strategy, strategic roadmaps and investment business cases.
• Conduct market research, technology assessments and industry benchmarking to spot emerging trends and opportunities.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives and technology investments against business priorities.
• Monitor the progress and delivery of initiatives, tracking benefits, performance indicators and KPIs.
• Prepare strategic reports, executive briefings and management- and board-level presentations.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans.
• Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decisions and technology investment planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in IT strategy, digital strategy, corporate strategy or enterprise architecture.
• Preferred: MBA; previous experience in management or strategy consulting.
• Preferred: TOGAF or other recognized strategy / enterprise architecture certification.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of strategy development, business case preparation and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience with market assessments, technology benchmarking and strategic performance monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, business planning, presentation and executive communication skills.
