Studio Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Studio Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, workflow and resource allocation within our creative department. The role ensures projects move efficiently from brief to final delivery while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow and operations of the creative studio.
• Review and filter project briefs to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Allocate internal team members, freelancers and external resources based on project needs.
• Monitor team workload, utilisation, attendance and project progress.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with Creative, Account Management, Marketing, Production, Finance and other departments.
• Maintain clear communication of briefs, timelines, changes and feedback.
• Oversee freelancers, vendors and third‑party production partners as required.
• Track project costs and seek cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on progress, resource needs, risks and studio performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film & Television, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in studio management, creative project management or agency operations.
• Strong understanding of creative production processes, print and digital specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities with experience mentoring staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and external partners.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and attention‑to‑detail.
• High initiative, accountability, professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
