Systems Engineer – Enterprise Applications & eCommerce

About the role

The Systems Engineer will develop, test, integrate, deploy and support enterprise applications, digital platforms and eCommerce solutions for the organization in Doha, Qatar. This hands‑on role focuses on delivering secure, scalable and maintainable software that aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Analyse business processes, perform fit‑gap analysis and propose improvements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
• Support digital commerce platforms and integrations with ERP, PIM, CMS, payment gateways and loyalty systems.
• Participate in UAT activities and validate requirements before production deployment.
• Prepare solution designs, technical specifications and integration documentation.
• Support production releases, monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Work with architects, technical leads, QA teams and vendors to ensure alignment with technical standards.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with external suppliers and internal project teams as needed.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience integrating SaaS solutions and eCommerce platforms, including PIM, CMS, payment gateways and loyalty systems.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Postman, Swagger and Azure DevOps for test management.
• Good understanding of design and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (advantageous).
