Technical Lead - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

About the role

You will lead a team responsible for developing and managing websites and applications on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The role combines architectural design with hands‑on engineering to deliver secure, scalable digital experiences while supporting Qatar Airways' cloud transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide architectural blueprints, diagrams and technical guidance for the AEM Sites platform.
• Create high‑level AEM solution specifications focusing on integration, performance and feasibility.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and product owners to ensure intuitive, high‑quality implementations.
• Enforce AEM best practices and code‑quality gates to prevent technical debt.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive adoption of cloud innovations using Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Support product owners with solution architecture, technical assumptions and effort estimations.
• Design and implement robust external integrations (APIs, GraphQL) while managing security, risk and compliance.

Required profile

• High school qualification, vocational diploma or equivalent, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Approximately 8+ years of experience delivering e‑commerce or digital solutions for highly scalable, highly available systems.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on AEM experience, including leadership of development teams in large‑scale enterprises.
• Proven experience executing AEM Cloud migrations from legacy on‑premise or managed services.
