Technology Senior Expert - CCGT Assets

About the role

We are looking for a Technology Senior Expert to lead the management and optimisation of our Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) asset portfolio in Doha. Reporting to the Manager of International Asset Management, you will apply advanced technologies and strategic oversight to boost efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance and drive profitability while supporting our sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day CCGT operations, guaranteeing high reliability and alignment with corporate quality standards.
• Develop and implement technical strategies that maximise output and integrate innovative management technologies.
• Direct maintenance programmes to minimise downtime, address performance gaps and extend asset life cycles.
• Ensure strict compliance with local and international regulations, industry standards and environmental practices.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, government bodies, industry leaders and technology providers.
• Conduct detailed root‑cause analysis of performance issues and deliver actionable improvement plans.
• Translate divisional strategies into sectional business plans, manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Lead talent development, set performance objectives and motivate technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration (mandatory); MBA highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management within large corporate environments.
• At least 4 years in progressively senior managerial roles.
• Deep technical and commercial knowledge of power, energy and water sectors, especially CCGT trends.
