Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Procurement Engineer supports the continuity of NOC operational and production activities by managing purchasing activities with local and international suppliers. The role requires close interaction with partner entities, adherence to local regulations, and occasional visits to supplier sites for urgent material acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Handle purchase requisitions, compile tender packages, and organize calls for tender or requests for quotation.
• Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate contracts, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery and payment.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, local laws, safety regulations, and NOC General Terms and Conditions.
• Track purchase orders in SAP, monitor goods receipt, and resolve discrepancies between orders and deliveries.
• Contribute to the improvement of purchasing practices, documentation, and KPI reporting.

Required profile

• BSc degree in a scientific or commercial field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of post‑graduate experience in the oil & gas industry, including at least 1 year in procurement or purchasing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP procurement modules.
• C&P tools fundamentals certification.
