About the role
The Telephone Operator at Raffles Doha serves as the voice of the hotel, delivering gracious and personalized communication experiences that reflect the brand’s legendary standards of luxury hospitality. This position is central to guest interaction, ensuring every call is handled with warmth, discretion, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and place incoming and outgoing calls promptly and courteously, adhering to luxury hospitality standards.
- Accurately direct calls to the appropriate departments and coordinate guest requests across the hotel.
- Manage wake‑up calls, guest messages, voicemail, and emergency communication procedures.
- Maintain detailed call logs and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive assistance to enhance the overall guest experience.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a polished telephone etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by hotel operations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating multi‑line telephone systems.
- Basic computer literacy for logging calls and accessing guest information.
