Total Rewards & Policy Specialist

About the role

Review and update HR policies, support the rewards strategy, and ensure equitable and competitive rewards to attract and retain talent at Qatar Fabrication Company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures in coordination with HR sections and advise managers on their interpretation.
• Design, implement and maintain total rewards strategies, schemes and salary structures, conduct benchmarking surveys and ensure competitiveness.
• Conduct job evaluations, maintain grading systems and pay scales to ensure internal equity.
• Administer compensation and benefits, respond to employee queries and support performance‑related salary adjustments.
• Prepare reports and analysis on compensation data to support senior‑management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3‑5 years in a similar total rewards or policy role.
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and regional experience preferred.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of rewards design, grading structures, salary benchmarking and job evaluation (e.g., HAY methodology).
• Working knowledge of HRM‑ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPD, PHR, SPHR, CIR, ACIR) is highly preferred.
