Training Cell Team Leader

About the role

The Training Cell Team Leader reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is responsible for designing, updating and managing the toolsets that identify training needs and record completed training. The role supports maintenance personnel and managers in using all available training media to demonstrate compliance and competency.

Key responsibilities

• Update training materials to reflect system changes, upgrades and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure training content conforms to configuration standards in collaboration with the Lead Trainer.
• Establish and maintain training schedules and delivery programmes as directed.
• Support the creation of bespoke training courses, either by outsourcing or internal development.
• Deliver induction, continuation, manual handling, working‑at‑height and SHE briefings.
• Maintain accurate training records to evidence competency and currency.
• Liaise with external agencies for training and refresher courses.
• Collect feedback, analyse trends and adjust training programmes accordingly.
• Provide IMS training when required.

Required profile

• Proven ability to liaise with maintenance staff at all levels and lead a training cell.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, safety management systems and human‑factors principles.
• Experience with continuing airworthiness assurance and CAA audit processes.
• Capability to manage training documentation and demonstrate compliance to authorities.
