Travel Consultant – Outbound Travel Specialist

About the role

247 Charters Tours and Travels is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join its Doha office. The role focuses on outbound travel planning, visa assistance, and delivering personalized travel solutions for leisure, corporate, and special‑interest groups.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in planning and booking outbound travel itineraries, quotations, and packages.
• Prepare detailed holiday itineraries and coordinate group travel arrangements.
• Provide end‑to‑end visa assistance, including document verification, application preparation, and submission guidance.
• Book hotels, transfers, tours, travel insurance, cruises, and other travel‑related services.
• Collaborate with Destination Management Companies, hotels, and suppliers to ensure smooth travel execution.
• Handle customer inquiries, offer destination recommendations, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate records in the reservation system and stay updated on visa regulations and travel trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound travel within a travel agency.
• Proven experience processing tourist visa applications for multiple destinations.
• Strong knowledge of international destinations, travel products, and visa documentation.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is advantageous.
• Currently residing in Qatar.
