Workshop Auto Electrician

About the role

The Workshop Auto Electrician will ensure the reliable operation of our fleet of trucks and trailers by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and electrical repairs. This position is based in our Doha workshop and supports the logistics operations of the company. The role requires a strong technical background in diesel vehicle electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty electrical components such as headlights, diagnostic lights, alarm systems, circuit boards, alternators, and starter motors.
• Perform wiring, installation, and alignment tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address vehicle deficiencies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in the workshop.

Required profile

• Male, up to 45 years of age.
• Vocational or technical certificate in auto mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with diesel truck maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and write in English; bilingualism is a plus.
• Physically fit to handle workshop duties.
