Accounting Specialist

About the role

First Marble & Granite, a natural stone manufacturer, fabricator and installer active in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented accountant to join its team in Doha as soon as possible. The position is full-time and on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Support progress billing, including retention, advance recovery and payment certificates
• Track costs by project and assist with budgeting and financial analysis
• Monitor transactions and follow up on discrepancies
• Support tax compliance and audits
• Work with internal teams to support daily financial operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounting experience
• Valid QID and transferable visa, based in Qatar
• Able to work on-site in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Preferred: construction or contracting experience, GCC experience, Arabic speaking, CPA/CMA or similar certification, and immediate start

Required skills

• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with accounting software
• Preferred: Peachtree / Sage 50
