AI Governance Lead – Doha, Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Governance Lead to steer AI governance initiatives in Doha, Qatar. The role ensures AI projects align with business objectives while adhering to Responsible AI and Explainable AI principles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the AI use‑case portfolio to support strategic business goals.
• Define performance, explainability and trust requirements for AI models.
• Govern the full AI lifecycle, including approval, ongoing monitoring and retirement of models.
• Monitor model performance, detect drift and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Enforce Responsible AI and Explainable AI guidelines across all AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with AI engineering and business teams to deliver measurable value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI, analytics, data science or decision intelligence.
• 5+ years dedicated to AI governance, analytics governance or AI assurance.
• Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks, AI lifecycle management, Responsible AI and Explainable AI.
• Experience governing AI use cases that inform strategic or executive decisions.
• Master’s degree and relevant certifications are a plus.
