Aircraft Mechanic – IFE Base (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

As an Aircraft Mechanic in the IFE Base (Heavy/Light) you will perform all maintenance work in line with approved technical data, QR standards and safety procedures. You will ensure cabin defects are rectified to maintain the 5‑star standard of the QTR fleet and support operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance services according to company and customer procedures.
• Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality and performance.
• Examine engines and components for cracks, breaks or leaks.
• Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings, fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
• Modify aircraft structures, systems or components following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair methods.
• Implement technical solutions for line‑maintenance problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft or cabin/I​FE maintenance.
• Practical experience in a technical field with knowledge of heavy cabin and IFE maintenance fundamentals.
• Ability to perform and plan maintenance tasks, use appropriate tools and control equipment operations.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
