Aircraft Mechanic – IFE Base (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

As an Aircraft Mechanic in the IFE Base (Heavy/Light) you will ensure that all cabin and in‑flight entertainment (IFE) equipment is maintained to the highest safety and quality standards. Working in Doha, you will follow QR technical data, procedures and standards to keep the fleet at a 5‑star cabin level.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance services in accordance with company and customer procedures.
• Conduct tests, inspections and quality evaluations of engines, structures and IFE components.
• Examine and diagnose cracks, leaks or other defects in aircraft parts.
• Repair, replace and rebuild structures such as wings, fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
• Modify aircraft structures and systems following engineering drawings, orders and technical publications.
• Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals to determine repair methods and feasibility.
• Implement technical solutions for line‑maintenance problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• Practical knowledge of heavy cabin and IFE maintenance.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Effective communication in a multicultural environment.
