Aquatics Training Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a professional and motivational Aquatics Training Supervisor to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you will oversee the aquatics training program, supervise instructors and staff, and ensure the highest standards of water safety and instruction quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage aquatics training staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and update aquatics training programs and curricula that meet organizational standards and participant needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to water safety protocols, facility regulations, and emergency procedures at all times.
• Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to maintain staff competency and certification standards.
• Monitor instructor performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
• Maintain detailed records of training programs, participant progress, and staff certifications.
• Coordinate with facility management to ensure optimal facility maintenance and equipment functionality.
• Organize and oversee special aquatics events, competitions, and community programs.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
• Manage training budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining program quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in aquatics instruction, coaching, or training.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team management experience.
• Current certifications in aquatics instruction (e.g., Certified Aquatic Instructor) and Water Safety Instructor.
• Current Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of water safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are preferred.
• Valid work authorization or eligibility to work in Qatar.

Required skills

• Proficiency in program scheduling software.
• Experience with facility management systems.
