Area Planner - EPC Projects

About the role

Gray Mackenzie Engineering Services is looking for a highly experienced Area Planner to join its project team in Qatar. The role suits planning professionals with strong EPC project experience who want to contribute to major industrial and infrastructure projects. Immediate joining is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to align schedules.
• Track progress, identify schedule deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare look-ahead plans, progress reports and management presentations.
• Support project controls activities such as forecasting, resource planning and risk analysis.
• Interface with clients and project stakeholders on planning and scheduling matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of project planning experience in EPC projects.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure or industrial projects preferred.
• GCC/Qatar project experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and the MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
