Assistant Manager – Cyber Security Strategy & Product Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support QNB's GIS department by managing vendor contracts, product licensing, and the budgeting process for cyber security strategy and product management. The role ensures compliance with SLAs, monitors budget performance, and provides financial analysis to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the annual budget process, including capital and operating forecasts, and submit budget reports to senior management.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and monitor service level agreements to maximise business value and ensure compliance.
• Maintain GIS software procurement, licensing lifecycle, and vendor invoice processing.
• Analyse budget variances, recommend mitigating actions, and provide financial information for internal funding applications.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly budget reports and support internal audit, compliance and risk functions.
• Develop and improve contractual and SLA terms, and build internal validation channels for vendor‑delivered services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Minimum 4 years of budget management experience, including at least 2 years in IT/IS related areas.
• ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory; ITIL Practitioner or Expert is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, capacity modelling and trend analysis.
