Assistant Manager - Treasury and Investment Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will manage day‑to‑day processing, settlement, reconciliation and control of treasury products such as FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Repo, Derivatives and Cash Management. The role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance and timely support to Front Office, Middle Office, custodians and correspondent banks.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, process and settle treasury transactions across FX, Money Market, bonds, repo and derivatives, ensuring timely confirmation and settlement.
• Perform daily reconciliations of Nostro accounts, custody positions, treasury GL accounts and securities holdings, investigating any breaks.
• Process corporate actions and income events, coordinating with custodians and counterparties.
• Monitor settlement, operational and counter‑party risk, support audits and maintain maker‑checker controls.
• Lead a team of treasury analysts, authorise transactions within delegated limits and provide coaching.
• Identify automation opportunities, drive straight‑through‑processing initiatives and support system upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking, economics or related field.
• 10+ years of treasury operations experience in a bank or financial institution.
