About the role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth store operations. This role steps in to lead the store when the manager is absent.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and fashion trends to minimise stock loss and meet customer needs.
- Ensure retail staff are skilled in providing high‑level customer service to maximise sales.
- Assist in implementing operating procedures and uphold brand policies.
- Audit store administration, manage rosters, leave, grievances and visual merchandising standards.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
- Provide feedback on employees and products to the Store Manager or Area Manager.
- Maintain security vigilance and handle end‑to‑end store responsibilities in the manager’s absence.
Required profile
- Fashion‑forward, well‑groomed with strong product knowledge.
- Physically fit for extended standing and heavy lifting.
- Ability to manage staff schedules, resolve issues and uphold visual standards.
