Assistant/Associate Professor – Cybersecurity

About the role

The Department of Information Technology at the Community College of Qatar seeks a motivated Assistant or Associate Professor in Cybersecurity. You will teach undergraduate courses, blend theory with hands‑on practice, and help expand the department’s cybersecurity curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate lectures and labs in cybersecurity topics.
• Develop and update course syllabi, assessments, and teaching materials.
• Review and recommend textbooks and learning resources.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit required reports.
• Hold regular office hours and provide academic support.
• Participate in departmental committees and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Arabic and English with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and responsibility toward students and staff.
• Ability to plan lessons, design assessments, and adhere to departmental standards.
